Samaniego lawmaker Hildebrando Tapia was appointed chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Annual Session 2010-2011. Also elected Lamadrid and Rafael Humberto Vásquez Falla Rodríguez in positions of vice president and secretary, respectively.
